Wanderer

I've stumbled on the sides of rocks,
I've climbed to tops, run out of stocks.
I've walked and crawled curved mountain ways.
I've seen from there distant bays.

I've been in front of many seas.
I've overcome a strange disease.
I've been ten thousand miles to south.
For days I've had no bit in mouth.

I've been half-deep inside a grave.
I've had to strain and to be brave.
I've dreamt of going to soft bed,
I've struggled to survive instead.

I've lost my way in wilderness.
I've longed for mother's soothing kiss.
I've gone the pathes of the dead.
I've seen my star that shone ahead.
