Tzuren farewell Strugatzky tribute
brothers' Strugatzky tribute of "It's hard to be a god" science-social-fiction imaginary poet Tzuren being set into exile for his free-thinker views and poems)
(NOT a variety of my russian imaginary similar, but NOT identical text!
see - http://www.stihi.ru/2014/03/08/8336)
As wilted leaves are now fallin' per one's head
So all around darkens, losing former colour.
The falseness of pitch dark I cannot clearly read
I scent just of vague nonsense too harsh odour.
Friends aren't no more with all cute rede of them:
I'm gone astray, so bent by burden of these years.
Reality's not furnished by eloquence and anthem,
I seek refuge from grayness' vigilant sharp ears.
I'm gonna sail away over the skyline soothin' pain ...
Hills of cool foam should hide my scarce trai(e)l.
I won't give up my lot of chanter which remain
No carin' a fig for cage of insipidity tight gaol(jai(e)l).
I've just avoided to be captive by my shame exile,
Forgive, Ye, pray for me with your farewell smile
Both phrases "As wilted leaves are now fallin' per one's head" and "Hills of cool foam" are directly borrowed from brothers Arkady and Boris Strugatzky fiction "It's hard to be a god"
