Acrostic D. S

Dichotomy of home and abroad,
Meandering munificence of soul,
In Inca temples and on an Andes road,
They keep the mind intact and body whole.
Returns the wind forever to its circuit,
Yet those gusts no longer cut as keen.
So has Atlantic mellowed the Berserker?
Meet one in woolly warm Chewbacca skin.
Intelligence, of the cerebral kind,
Redeems the arrows of outrageous fortune,
Negating the one-eyed who leads the blind,
Overtly steady, sage, and ever-searching
Vast treasures hidden in this mighty mind.
