A simple square fits frame’s embrace,
Where play of shadows, light, and hues,
Reflected subtle, fleeting grace
Of quiet smile and blooming youth.
Mankind in its relentless stroll
Perceived on canvas higher plane:
Endearing gentleness of soul,
Enthralling sound of the name.
Poetic rhyme, defying time,
Aloof of age and circumstance,
So is the image of sublime,
Suspended in enchanted trance,
And so am I, eternal paying toll
   To beauty’s everlasting call.
