Free Fall

Beyond the eternal question
Of mere existence
Beyond suicidal evenings
Of utter futility

Rafrain:
We keep on circling
In the free fall of our life
In our avoidance
Of questions like why
We keep on circling
In the free fall of our life
In our ignorance
of questions

I volunteer for slavery
or the so called freedom
That we have established,
Which is a nice image, per se

I volunteer for creation
Of my own little meanings
Like stones in the masonry
Of our unanimous mirage

Refrain:

It's 14 thousand feet -
Accelerated Free Fall.
The chopper's thunderous beat...
Another brick in the wall.
Yet as you exit the ramp,
Jumpmasters seasoned and wise
Take you from muscular cramp
Beyond the how's and why's.

morose...uuh. i thought i was lugubrious enough lamenting about our ephemeral existence... your imagery from the helicopter scene struck me as a butcher chopping and seasoning the meat - perhaps, ours? (and still alive - 'muscular cramp'...)
however, stones in the masonry is not the same as bricks in the wall. see, the meaning lies in building a house for everybody, not dividing the mankind with a wall...although i do love pink floyd:)))
