Пожарные собакиFIRE DOGS Happens often that in the cities on the fires there are children in houses and they can't be pulled out because they from a fright will hide and are silent, and from a smoke it is impossible to consider them. For this purpose in Londone1 dogs are accustomed. These dogs live with firefighters and when the house lights up, firefighters send dogs to pull out children. One such dog in London rescued twelve children; she was called Bob. Once lit up the house. And when firefighters arrived to the house, to them the woman ran out. She cried and said that in the house there was a two-year-old girl. Firefighters sent Bob. Bob ran on a ladder and disappeared in a smoke. In five minutes it ran out from the house and in teeth for a rubashonka bore the girl. Mother rushed to the daughter and cried with happiness that the daughter was living. Firefighters caressed a dog and examined her — whether she scorched; but Bob was torn again to the house. Firefighters thought that in the house there is still something live, and started up it. The dog ran to the house and ran out with something in teeth soon. When the people considered that it bore, all burst out laughing: it bore a big doll. ПОЖАРНЫЕ СОБАКИ Лев Толстой Бывает часто, что в городах на пожарах остаются дети в домах и их нельзя вытащить, потому что они от испуга спрячутся и молчат, а от дыма нельзя их рассмотреть. Для этого в Лондоне1 приучены собаки. Собаки эти живут с пожарными, и когда загорится дом, то пожарные посылают собак вытаскивать детей. Одна такая собака в Лондоне спасла двенадцать детей; ее звали Боб. Один раз загорелся дом. И когда пожарные приехали к дому, к ним выбежала женщина. Она плакала и говорила, что в доме осталась двухлетняя девочка. Пожарные послали Боба. Боб побежал по лестнице и скрылся в дыме. Через пять минут он выбежал из дома и в зубах за рубашонку нес девочку. Мать бросилась к дочери и плакала от радости, что дочь была жива. Пожарные ласкали собаку и осматривали ее — не обгорела ли она; но Боб рвался опять в дом. Пожарные подумали, что в доме есть еще что-нибудь живое, и пустили его.
