Spring forest lake

Sun honey light is seeping through red alder blossom.
It's slipping on the edges of dark-green pines needles,
fondling the trees with long-expected warmth. A forest
is trying to wake up from winter magic dreams.

Small buds are filling with trees juice. Branches dressed thin veil.
The light-green gauze has wrapped naked birches on the lake bank.
The sun throws beams through branches and lots of fire fairies
are dancing on cold water and in brushes of cane.

This sunny day is forcing leaves to break a cover.
Its warm has risen corydalis* dark-purple heads.
A flock of small but vivid independent chaffinches
are singing, grating live, inside the forest shade.
