Lady-winter, perish and arise,
With a diamond flawless moon.
Pour melody of snow and ice,
Over fortresses at noon.
Your armours - all of sparkling blue,
The helmet and the sword
of dazzling silver being wrought
Are a shield against the foe!
The river - down, at the feet -
Is lying as a dog.
And multiple all glaring flakes
Are guarding frozen walls!
The daring eyes like eyes of gods
Are scrutinising mine.
The man I am… and shall it be
In the face of the divine.
