A twinkle falling off the sky

A twinkle falling off the sky
Will sink in the golden splash,
And, over horizon burst alight,
Shall dive into the shimmering ash.

The man to find a little star
Will lose oneself and then
Shall rove and reach a distant edge
Where the ice is cutting the land.

All frozen into the wildest shores
The river is drifting the snows.
The granite idols are keeping the scrolls
Of these ancient lands on the Earth.

When the magi hear the bells to sing
And the crystalline branches to spell,
The one to have found a star, by meander,
Will fire a poppy red…
