Mellifluous nights
These nights of summers all alight
With lilac glowing out of white,
When tiny crosses of the blooms
Are melting odours into dew…
These nights of bridges over steams,
And rapids, and rebellious streams,
Awaiting guests to see the thrones
Of warriors of porticos…
Along the longest waterways,
To dream away, one’s head to bow,
Shall travel one and see the dawn
Before to step on cobblestone.
To find a child inside oneself
At night which twinkles, out of white,
The drops of glitter shall you catch
Before the morning spring will site!
Mellifluous bewitching tones
Of nights below the heaven north
Are a luring magic! But sunrise
Is out of white and out of rose…
