Eternal waves are calm, they're only sleeping
But deep within your heart is still alive,
It's shaken to the core and quietly weeping,
And to the depth your soul is meant to dive.
Deep blue becomes opaque and then obscure,
Your heartbeat is still heard from deep within.
Sleep in the depth, it's only known cure
For broken hearts, it’s a weakness, not a sin.
The sleeping ocean cuddling you and healing
Will make pain go, and you will soon forget
And love will be attractive and appealing.
But sometimes it brings sorrow and regret.
Eternal waves are murmuring and rocking,
But deep within your heart is strangely calm,
The sleeping ocean's deeper thoughts unlocking,
Your pure heart is holding on its palm.
