The melody consumes poetic dance,

Tercets are flowing and making pure sense,

Don't let them make your heart afraid and tense.

I see the meaning as a distant light,
Oh, reading villanelle is such a chance!

The rules are beautiful, they only bring delight,
The repetition makes us feel the trance!

For villanelle to be your loyal knight
You think this through, all rhymes in advance,
