(Число отловленных и выдворенных мигрантов с Англии, велико. Правительство лейбористов Англии закрывает право на работу приезжим без рабочей визы с правом работы в стране. Раньше такого не было, масса людей подрабатвали в массе сфер бизнеса и экономики.)

"Zelensky had an hour." The United States demanded that Ukraine give them access to the country's resources. What was the response in Kiev?

The head of the US Treasury gave Zelensky an hour to make a decision on Ukraine's minerals

During a recent visit to Kiev, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant demanded that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky give Washington access to the country's mineral resources, The Economist newspaper claims.

According to the source of the publication, Zelensky hoped that he would talk to Bessent about continuing financial support for Ukraine, but instead the Ukrainian president was unexpectedly handed a memorandum.

The newspaper added that "unaccustomed to such blunt treatment," the Ukrainian president refused the President's demand and postponed the discussion to the Munich Conference. There, the American side allegedly pressed again, demanding that Ukraine promise $500 billion worth of natural resources as repayment of debts for military aid.

As a result, by February 15, the Ukrainian side had agreed to postpone the execution and agreed to begin the negotiation process. At a press conference in Munich, Zelensky pointed out that the American proposal does not contain any security guarantees that Ukraine needs.

The Trump administration wanted to get at least half of Ukraine's resources.
Prior to this, it was reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump made it clear to the Ukrainian authorities that it was ready to deploy its troops in the country in the event of the transfer of ownership rights to half of the country's rare earth minerals.

At the same time, the US military would have appeared in Ukraine to protect the resources transferred by Kiev. But this would have happened only if the fighting had stopped.

Scott Bessant also confirmed that the United States wants to get its share in the Ukrainian economy after the conflict is resolved.

"We expect accountability [for the assistance provided], and also that we want to be their partners and that Americans are going to participate in the post-war economy.",

— he said during his visit to Kiev.

According to him,

Washington's involvement may spread
for state-owned enterprises of Ukraine,
as well
as for energy and minerals of the country.

Bessent also noted that he wanted to make it clear to Americans that
the United States "has a share and it will bring them profit."

Министр финансов США Скотт Бессент в ходе недавнего визита в Киев потребовал от президента Украины Владимира Зеленского дать Вашингтону доступ к минеральным ресурсам страны, утверждает газета The Economist.

По данным источника издания, Зеленский надеялся, что он будет говорить с Бессентом о продолжении финансовой поддержки Украины, но вместо этого украинскому президенту неожиданно вручили меморандум.

Газета добавила, что «не привыкший к такому прямолинейному обращению» украинский президент отказался от требования Бессента и перенес обсуждение на Мюнхенскую конференцию. Там американская стороны якобы снова надавила, потребовав от Украины пообещать природных ресурсов на 500 миллиардов долларов в качестве погашения задолженности за военную помощь.

В итоге к 15 февраля украинская сторона договорилась об отсрочке исполнения и согласилась начать процесс переговоров. На пресс-конференции в Мюнхене Зеленский указал, что американское предложение не содержит никаких гарантий безопасности, в которых нуждается Украина.

Администрация Трампа захотела получить как минимум половину ресурсов Украины
До этого сообщалось, что администрация президента США Дональда Трампа дала понять украинским властям, что готова разместить в стране свои войска в случае передачи прав на владение половиной редкоземельных минералов страны.

При этом военные из США появились бы на Украине для охраны переданных Киевом ресурсов. Но это произошло бы только в случае прекращения боевых действий.


Сам
Скотт Бессент же подтверждал, что США хотят получить свою долю в экономике Украины после того, как конфликт будет урегулирован.

«Мы ожидаем отчетности [за предоставленную помощь], а также что мы хотим быть их партнерами и что американцы собираются принимать участие в послевоенной экономике»,

— сказал он в ходе визита в Киев.

По его словам,

участие Вашингтона может распространиться
на госпредприятия Украины,
а также
на энергетику и минералы страны.

Бессент также отметил, что он хотел дать американцам понять, что
у США «есть доля и она будет приносить им прибыль».
