One Rhyme
Fuller of life than emeralds;
And rubies can’t be precious more
Than you, my sweetheart, in the morn.
More tender than a shadow touch
While wind’s fond kisses trembling leaves;
More graceful than a gleaming stream
Dancing between wet happy rocks.
And you’re lonely like the sun –
Not lonely! But the only one!
