‘СПРОСИ У СОЛНЦА, СПРОСИ У МОРЯ’
Do ask the sunshine, do ask seawater
Do ask the wind storm and silence too –
In heated quarrel they will remind you,
That all is equal, and so are you.
Do ask the spirit, do ask the brainwave,
Or put an ear to vatic song, -
What are you equal and are you apt for?
They will reply you with solemn gong:
You are unbound of own free will,
You are unbound of Heaven’s will,
And you’re not given to things just given
And are much stronger, than all that’s seen:
The sunshine’s dimmer, the seas are weaker,
The silence’s stronger, than whistling wind,
On not believing persistent feeling,
In quarrel heated don’t burn your dream!
