Nikolai Gumilev Most similar in their kind
'ОДНООБРАЗНЫЕ МЕЛЬКАЮТ'
NIKOLAI GUMILEV
'MOST SIMILAR IN THEIR KIND'
Most similar, that one can find,
And the consistency of pain
Do streak my days of even kind
And the vitality of way.
But so is she, so sad and dismal
The one who ordered me to love
Beneath the skin of satin texture
Does run through veins her venom-blood…
And if I live on Earth, that’s given,
Just for the sake of only dream:
We both alike, two blind children,
Shall reach steep edge of mountain brim.
The site which only goets inhabit
The world that’s pale and pearly frail,
Shall search for roses, faded, sere…
And listen breethless nightingale.
