Winter s Tale

Clad by the blankets white,  the houses lie,
As winter's breath whispers nigh.
Like a tale spun from dreams,
The evening's glow softly gleams.

In a dress of lace, the snowflakes dance,
Each step a tender, twinkling prance.
Oh, beauty of winter, gazing from within,
Every moment, a magic to begin.

The moon will rise with gentle grace,
Spilling silver through the space,
Across the valleys, through fields so wide,
A filigree pattern in brilliance, our guide.

Night falls, a spell of wonder unfolds,
Embracing the earth, in its soft, frosty holds.
May sweet dreams come softly true!
And may all lovely wishes too!
