The charm of winter

With white snow, like chalk, it paints
Life on earth, in flowing taints,
Somewhere shyly, somewhere bold,
The scene unfolds in beauty untold.

Reflecting sunlight’s sparkling trace,
Soon it’ll greet you with a face,
On early mornings, bright and clear,
It’ll smile at you, my dear!

Winter charms with snow so bright,
Enchanting with its pure delight,
And softly, gently, flakes that fall,
Drive us mad with their sweet call.
