Decision
That we would build from sand
It brought a lot of hassles
Then It got out of hand…
That castle was in question,
It's folded down and gone.
We made our concessions,
Let's leave it all alone.
The doors were shut forever
They're washed away by waves.
It was so right and clever
The decision not to save...
It was so right and timely
To have a sit and talk
We should have done it primely
Instead of seeing it break…
You gifted paper roses
At first they were so neat
In unexpected poses
A simple wrinkled sheet.
The paper birds were making
Their move above the ash.
The bleeding hearts were aching,
Those birds are now in trash.
Glass stars don't beam forever
They have a short life.
Our shared dreams will never
become a sonant fife.
Sand castles crumble quickly,
Washed by the tide of time.
Our love, once held so sickly,
Now fades like distant chime.
