Lullaby
As snowflakes gently fall, a lullaby deep,
Covered in white, a peaceful sheet,
Your worries silenced, like the quiet of a midnight street.
The world outside is frozen still,
A winter's hush, a silent chill,
The trees stand tall, their branches bare,
A skeletal frame, devoid of life, without a care.
But in this frozen landscape, I implore,
Let your heart be warm, let your spirit soar,
For even in the cold, there's beauty found,
A chance for rest, for healing all around.
So close your eyes, and let the snow fall deep,
Let the world slow down, and your heart take a sleep,
For in the stillness, you'll find a peace that's true,
A sense of calm, that only winter can imbue.
And when you wake, the spring will come alive,
Bringing with it warmth, and a vibrant thrive,
The snow will melt away, like tears of joy and pain,
And your soul will rise, like the sun's warm rays again.
In this new season of growth and renewal,
May your heart be filled with hope and zeal,
May your spirit soar, like the birds that take flight,
And may your soul be nourished by the spring's warm light.
But for now, my dear soul, go to sleep,
Let the snow cover you, and your worries creep,
Into the silence of the night, where dreams are born,
And may your heart be filled with peace, until the morning's dawn.
So go to sleep, my soul, go to sleep,
And let the snow fall soft and deep,
For in its quiet beauty, you'll find a peace that's true,
And when you wake, a new spring will await you.
