If someone had told me 25 years ago, when we first met, that I’d be standing here to marry you, I wouldn’t have believed it. Let’s be honest: I didn’t even know what love was back then. I had no idea it had already found me in you.

And now, standing in front of you, it all makes sense. Every step, every moment, every twist and turn in our journey – it all brought us here, to this moment. To this love.

You are the most incredible person I have ever known. I’ve seen you at your highest, and I’ve seen you in the moments when life was anything but kind to you. And through it all, your heart, your love — it never faltered.

We’ve been close enough to touch and far enough to ache, and through all of it, one thing has remained constant: my love for you. It’s been a steady flame, unwavering even when everything else around us felt like it was falling apart. And now, I know that every single moment we were separated, every struggle and heartache, was leading us back to this beautiful moment, back to each other.

I need you to know: I love you more than words could ever say. You are my best friend, my great consuming love, and the one person who has always felt like home to me. No matter where we were in the world, no matter what the distance between us, you’ve always been my home. You always will be.

I don’t know what could be purer than my love for you.

Today, I promise to love you in all the ways you deserve. To never take for granted what we’ve built, what we’ve overcome, and the love that has carried us through it all. I promise to be by your side, not just in the easy moments, but in the ones where life tests us. To laugh with you, to cry with you, to hold you close when the world feels too big.

You make me want to be the best version of myself, and I promise to give you the best of me, every single day. I will protect this love, treasure it, and never let anything come between us again.

I am so incredibly grateful for you. For your heart, your strength, your patience, and the way you’ve always believed in us, even when I couldn’t see the path ahead. I don’t know how I got so lucky, but I will spend the rest of my life making sure you know how much you are loved, how deeply you are valued.

You are, and always will be, the love of my life. And today, I stand here, ready to spend forever showing you just how much that means to me.
