Let's bow to the wall.
Only the wall will never betray.
She will not betray,
not because she has a conscience,
but because she is a wall.
let's bow to the walls -
these are heroes who are not afraid of death
Let's bow to the walls
that give us shelter.
To whom we owe the fact that we are still alive.
Outside the walls,
we can be ourselves.
We don't hide our fears behind walls.
We feel safe behind the wall.
There we can cry and laugh.
Behind the wall
we can feel happy.
Behind the wall,
we are not haunted
by thoughts that we are alone.
Behind the wall
we can feel strong.
Behind the wall
we don't have to fight to survive.
When we are behind the wall,
we feel that we
can control our lives.
 
But as soon as we come out from behind the wall,
we are trapped again.
We are afraid again.
We are afraid
that we may be offended.
We are afraid
of being rejected.
We are afraid
to say what we think.
We are afraid
to be left alone.
When we step outside the wall,
we feel fear again.
 
But, in the end, we give
up and go back to our little room.
We return to our room,
where we are waiting for a small world
that we have created for ourselves.
We return to our walls
To their penates
To weselfs
 
We are alive again
