Albatross

I'm just an albatross,
overseer of seas.
the might of my wings
casts winds over rye fields.
I'm not alone 'cause
I'm a son of a cloud,
crying from above,
and deadly rifts of whirlpools.
some fools believe that
the presence of mine
brings all storms and calamities from seas.
you know, it hurts my feelings.
I fly as high as Father built his ceiling,
like Icarus, I'll sweep up
to slam into the Sun,
shattering my white glass body.
so, the shards of mine
will cover your lands,
maybe, I am a stormbringer,
not just 'somebody'.
