Just Us

18+

The night was thick and warm, like hot, sticky air that clung to us, heavy and intimate. The scent of jasmine floated in through the open window. We were so young. The world hadn’t laid its weight on us yet, and the night felt endless…

I remember the way you greeted me at the door, that easy smile tugging at your lips. Your parents were out, the house was ours, and the night promised something that felt… electric. You took my hand, fingers sliding through mine, and pulled me inside. The soft glow of the lamps cast everything in a golden light.
“Let’s dance,” you said, voice low and teasing.
Like it was the most natural thing in the world. And with you, it was.

You moved to the stereo, hit play, and the slow, haunting melody filled the room. It felt like the music was wrapping itself around us. You turned, like you knew exactly what was about to happen. My chest tightened.

“How about we dance without clothes?” I said, the words slipping out almost without thinking. But I meant it. You raised an eyebrow, your expression shifting, the smirk deepening as you realized I was serious. You didn’t look away.

“I like that idea,” you said, your voice quieter now, daring.

I stepped closer, the air between us thick with anticipation. My hands went to the buttons of my shirt. With your eyes on me, I felt an overwhelming urge, and my jeans were tight against the obvious evidence of my desire. Slowly, I undid each button, one by one, until the shirt slipped off my shoulders and hit the floor. "I think I can help you with that," you said, and started removing the rest of my clothes…

“Feels right like this,” I said.
“Yeah,” you said, voice rougher now, as your eyes flicked over my body. “This is better.”

Now it was your turn. Your hands went straight to your belt, unbuckling it in a swift motion. You pushed your jeans down, stepping out of them with that easy, casual confidence. Then, with one quick motion, you pulled your t-shirt over your head. My gaze traced every inch of you.

We stood there, both of us stripped down. The air between us felt alive, charged. Your eyes burning with something I hadn’t seen before.

“Come here,” you whispered. Your hand found its way to my chest, fingers pressing against my skin, tracing the muscles, moving lower with a confidence that sent a rush of blood through me. You paused, fingertips grazing the curve of my hip, and I couldn’t stop the sharp intake of breath.

We started to move, slow, our bodies falling into rhythm with the music. The feel of your skin sliding against mine, the way our hips brushed together as we swayed— it was overwhelming. Your hands roamed over me, exploring, every touch igniting something deeper. Your fingers slid down my back, gripping harder… “You feel incredible,” you whispered against my ear, voice thick, breath hot. Your hands were everywhere—chest, shoulders, down to my sides…

I pressed into you, my face buried in the curve of your neck, inhaling the scent of you — so clean and warm… So yours.  “I love the way you touch me,” I whispered, barely audible, but I knew you felt it. Your arms tightened around me, pulling me even closer, and for a moment, it was all too much — our bodies pressed together, the heat, the tension. I could feel your breath growing faster, your chest rising and falling against mine. We were lost in each other.

“I never want this to end,” you breathed out, your lips tracing a path over my collarbone, down my chest.
I lifted my head, catching your gaze, and for a second, the world stopped. Then I kissed you. Hard. Deep.
“Me neither,” I whispered against your lips, voice low, raw with everything I felt. “This is everything.”

The music faded into the background, the pulse of it matching the beat of our hearts, the rhythm of our bodies… We were on the edge of something. I wanted to fall into it.
