Taken by the Storm
A spark ignited by pure chance.
No words were needed, no promises made,
Just the silence where memories fade.
I didn’t even ask your name,
I just saw your heart’s flame.
And that was enough for me to love,
To pray for you and always forgive.
I loved you; you loved your women,
Your lies were never hidden.
And I’ve made peace with that,
That’s why I love Ultraviolence
And Sylvia Plath.
Your voice was a distant thread,
I heard the whispers she said.
You thought I couldn’t see through,
But silence revealed your truth.
The heart of endless summers
Can never understand a Ural soul.
We were spontaneous lovers,
Yet our love was taken by the storm.
In gusts of fate, I saw her face,
A tempest wild, a fleeting grace.
But storms return, they never cease,
And she will find no lasting peace.
