Starlight s Cradle

Who conceived thee, starry realm so bright?
In dreams of yore, thou hauntest my sight.
I venture forth from my abode so drear,
Where waves upon the pierhead break so clear.

As twilight falls and clamor ebbs away,
Stars glimmer faint, their light a gentle sway.
Before me, like a beacon in the night,
A Kid insight of purest heart takes flight.

The key to magic's door, a whispered spell,
Unlocks the realm where dreams forever dwell.
My vessel sails upon a boundless sea,
To shores of wonder where enchantment's free.

Where lie the isles of bliss, a distant shore?
Where goodness reigns and shadows flee before?
Amidst the hopes that dance upon the breeze,
Soft words of promise weave their melodies.

In childhood's realm, where friendships once did bloom,
Life's voyage beckons us to distant gloom.
Farewell to songs and harbors far away,
Each soul has tales of magic to convey.

Who shaped thee, starry realm so bright and fair?
In dreams of yore, thou hauntest everywhere.
I venture forth from my abode so drear,
Where waves upon the pierhead break so clear.
