Duck and Swan

My Duck was walking on the farm,
When he began to call a Swan.
Soon someone from above responded:
'Who quacked?' to know he wanted.

'I called you!' exclaimed my Duck,
(He was so pleased with his lifehack)
'Answer me, Whitefeather: Why
Are you gorgeous like a butterfly?'

'Remember, brother', Swan told him,
'If you have a cherished dream,
Don't pretend and don't disguise:
Your own wings have a price!'

Well written poetry, it reminds me of Aesop and Phaeder and their fables, as well as Krylov.
