По мотивам "Считалочки" Бориса Заходера. Перевод очень вольный, но, найдя в сети совсем корявый, захотелось записать свой:
Once two charming neighbors lived nearby,
Two cannibal neighbors, don't ask me why.
The Ogre invites his neighbor to lunch,
The Ogres very like to eat and to munch.
Neighbor very surprised by such of concourse:
"There's no way I'm coming! Never, of course!
It would be so nice to have a hearty lunch,
But not be the main course and not as a scrunch!
