my body s failing me

my body’s failing me. or I am failing it?
how life in peace has ended between us?
we argue through attempts to be discrete.
it's time to face reality at once.
identity, unique and monolith,
gone from inside and left the mirrors' glass.

my body wants a wiser calmer core.
my mind demands a younger slimmer case.
it seems we had a better deal before.
to make it easier own faults confess,
let's try to love each other little more,
or may be hate each other little less.
