Rejoice

Rejoice your heart in blurry days,
Cast to the wind uncertainties, equivocations,
Be glad to wake up to the sunny rays
And push away external provocations

Each day is granted from above
Implied are blessings, new beginnings,
There is a wonder they call love -
A true embodiment of all the underpinnings

Appreciate that blooming luck
You should not be a grumpy stranger
Your way belongs to you, so don’t get stuck
Do trust yourself, but also mind the dangers

With a clear mind and a soulful strife
Achieve your goals with full appreciation,
Embellish days for a better life
Admire outcomes of your creation

Hi, Nastya,

is it really true that "your way belongs to you"? When we choose our way and follow it, how autonomous are we, really?

The poem is amazing, almost has a Buddhist vibe :)

And sorry, but I’ve got to say again – your English is impressive :) Just trust me..)

Sasha, hi 👋
Glad to hear from you.
As for “your way belongs to you", the truth is out there, you know 🤪 (actually , these lines came to my mind without a profound analysis 😅)
I believe it’s impossible to be autonomous as long as we are in the Matrix, huh?
Thanks a lot, your every word is highly appreciated🙏🤩

I asked about the way because I’m going through yet another existential crisis, haha. I’m seriously questioning the whole purpose of my existence right now – can you believe it?))) In some discussions, people said that you shouldn’t overthink things and just pick a way. And if you’ve picked it, you should stick with it and stop second-guessing. But honestly, I’m still unsure :) The thing is, this choice wasn’t entirely mine to begin with. That said, I really liked your answer about the Matrix)) it actually made me feel a bit… lighter…)))

Surely enough I believe you, Sasha, though I must admit, do not understand how it is possible : you’ve got your career where you are 1000% successful (I’m sure), you moved long time ago to US (somehow here I’m also sure it was your choice, I’ve got a feeling) where you feel yourself comfortable, absolutely assimilated, you are able to love, took the most of this life in all possible ways (and still taking?), pushed it to the limits and challenged yourself a lot.
Should there be a special purpose? Or life itself the way it goes is already enough?
There are numerous things to be grateful for (especially when you compare to those who do not have even half) and there are numerous reasons to be proud of yourself I’m sure. As in the “The Devil's Advocate” ending scene- “vanity is definitely my favorite sin” 😎😏
Is this crisis really existential? These are just thoughts and rhetorical questions…
maybe one day I’ll also face an existential crisis (hopefully, not), so far I’m too selfish to think of purposes 😂😂😂

Thanks, Nastya, for being there for me and believing in me 🫶🏻 You're absolutely right, and you've said a lot of true things. I’m just a really complicated guy 😉 But I know how to be grateful..) Plus, I don’t take good things for granted and really appreciate what I've got. I even wrote something about it:

When I’m gone, this can be read to my close ones 😬

And yeah, I hope you don’t have to deal with that crisis later because it’s a mess 🤪 Hope everything goes your way! 😎
