Island
A little island where friends of mine,
Dwell in peace, under sun's bright shine,
A visit to them, when time allows, is divine.
There, the days gently unfold,
With stories new and tales old,
We fish in waters bold,
And sip on wine and rum, stories told.
As the sun dips low, in a fiery glow,
We watch in silence, hearts aglow,
The beauty of the sunset, a splendid show,
A reminder of life's simple flow.
In a world that's fast, and often cold,
It's a treasure to find a place to hold,
Where worries fade and joys unfold,
A haven from the hustle, pure as gold.
So here's to the island, and friends so dear,
To moments of peace, far from fear,
In that Caribbean haven, year after year,
A sanctuary of joy, laughter, and cheer.
