Dream wreckage

In times of old, when sails unfurled,
Men ventured forth to seek the world.
With dreams of wealth, in hearts so bold,
They braved the unknown, fierce and cold.

Across the seas, through storms they fought,
For treasures vast, they dearly sought.
With hopes as high as stars above,
They sailed for glory, wealth, and love.

But not all tales were sung with glee,
For many met their destiny.
In battles fierce, with bloodshed rife,
They gambled all, including life.

Now, centuries have come and gone,
Of those grand ships, remains but none.
Except for wrecks beneath the tide,
Where gold and jewels quietly hide.

Around these remnants of the past,
The fish now swim, so free, so vast.
What once was struggle, hope, and pain,
Lies silent 'neath the ocean's reign.

So when we gaze upon the sea,
Let's remember what used to be.
For every wave that meets the shore,
Carries stories, myths, and lore.

Of men who dared to dream and fight,
Under the stars, through darkest night.
Their legacy, a whispered song,
Of journeys bold, and voyages long.
