The concept of Reasonable Faith and emotions in Po

The Polar Express by Robert Zeneckis excellently shows what is reasonable faith and 'blessed are those who do not see yet believe'.

Ghost: sometimes to see is to believe.
Conductor: Sometimes you can't see the most important things.
Result: Blessed are those who do not see yet believe - The Boy has overwhelming evidence to believe Santa Claus exists, yet he doesn't see him yet. It's the key scene on the main square in the north pole. Then he accepts the evidence and believes without seeing, and Santa Claus appears then and he finally hears the bell, which has actually always rang, but only then The Boy accepted the evidence without eyewitnessing it and immediately became an eyewitness. That's what Jesus meant when he said 'blesses are those who do not see yet believe': it wasn't about reckless, blind faith, it was all about reasonable faith that doesn't require direct eyewitness to be so - that's what the boy lacked and realized that and changed on the square on the North Pole! God left enough evidence, so Jesus, as well as Santa Claus, don't have to appear to every new generation to make faith reason based!
