Scottish Christmas

Gloomy windows, crispy air,
Scottish winter in despair,
Speaking from my frozen heart,
Perfect season for the art.
Sugar tops on mountain shapes
Everlasting stony cakes,
Lazy dawns but sun falls fast -
Warming smiles that don't last.
Looking sad like rains with thunder
Naked forests filled with wonder.
Castles fading from the past,
People shiver walking fast.
Children'r waiting for the star,
Parents'r hiding presents far.
Christmas service's melting bowls -
Filled with love and wishes souls.
