AUSTIN, TEXAS: Senator Ted Cruz has launched a critique against the far-left, alleging they believe that America's existence is "fundamentally illegitimate." The Texas Senator made his accusation in a recent interview with Fox Business.

Discussing the migrant and asylum seekers crisis at the southern border with Fox's Maria Bartiromo, Cruz explicitly pointed out that Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, all Democrats along with the "radical open borders crowd," who drive the Democratic agenda believes that it is wrong to have a border.

"Some of those nuts believe America shouldn't exist, that our existence is fundamentally illegitimate," he said.

 
The recent escalation began when a Fox Business report revealed that US Customs and Border Protection issued a warning to agents regarding the detection of explosive devices at the US-Mexican border. The alert allegedly followed the Mexican military's seizure of ten improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at the border.

According to Cruz, the southern border is an "absolute disaster" at present.

"I spend a lot of time there, and it has never been remotely as bad as it is right now," he said. Pointing at the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, he noted that the "risk of a terrorist attack" is "higher than it has been any time since September 11."

Cruz criticized the Biden administration for not caring about national security; for them, it "is all politics all the time."

Cruz has maintained extreme conservative views regarding issues like illegal migration and abortion issues in the country. Recently he even refrained from commenting on his home state's Supreme Court denying emergency abortion to a pregnant woman whose fetus had a fatal condition.

Cruz continued blaming the Democratic party, saying that they purposefully look away from the illegal migrants entering the country through the southern border. The Senator told Fox Business that the Democratic Party "just see future Democrats" in the migrants entering the US.

The Texas lawmaker continued criticizing Sen. Bob Menendez, President Biden, and Vice President Kamala Harris, saying they "don't want to see" the situation at the order, which is why they have not visited so far.

He also alleged that the Biden administration counts on certain media that ignores the border to advance his open border policy.

"That's why Joe Biden doesn't go down because if he came down, the TV cameras would come with him," Cruz said. "And it is because of our corrupt and lying media [that] the Democrats have been driven to these radical policy positions."

Internet has mixed reactions to Ted Cruz's accusations
Cruz's allegations have divided netizens as one half supported his claims while the other half questioned his status and his role in undermining Biden's victory in the 2020 election. Users pointed out that his father is from Cuba and was born in Canada, making him an immigrant.
