An orchestra of misfits,
A virtuoso mess.
Pragmatics next to mystics.
Diminutive, immense
And average flaws and egos.
Wide open. In a crypt.
The emus and the eagles.
The odd, the nondescript.
The fraud of a conductor
With shifty fumbling hands.
The notes in shambles ducking
Into the music stands.
The loss of precious marbles
And the recovered shards.
An orchestra of marvels:
That's us. We top the charts.
