I age
My days and weeks blend into one,
Time slips away and getting colder.
A trickery can't be undone.
The world carries unaware,
Something new hinders my own stride,
my shadow lost in its affair.
Breaking like through each day, I hide.
The day was managed without a care,
I understand though it feels in vain,
I'm just a speck in its routine, I swear.
I'm still among people, yet not the same.
Retreating to the hills and groves,
Being alone with nature's embrace,
Where fallen leaves on snow behove.
It’s friendlier than human race.
We all emerge from nature's womb,
Though all my years were counted true,
Return to her eternal tomb.
As nature’s wisdom keeps anew.
