I smile and giggle when you are around,
How great it is that I have found
Some silly man to talk to me.
Oh, darling, yes, it is a perfect ‘we’,
The ‘we’, the ‘us’ they always talk about…
My many blessings I cannot even count!
We go on ‘dates’ and talk, and talk, and talk,
You make me laugh, sometimes put me in shock,
But always hear what I say,
You stay by me all night, all day…
This bond is getting ever strong,
As you protect me from all the wrong.
Sometimes we argue, you often disagree,
but you and I – it is a perfect ‘we’.
