Today there’s no sun up in the sky,
Today we’re having stormy weather.
Rain keeps on pouring all the time
Because today we aren’t together.
It started when you went away,
The rain walked in and stayed forever.
Now nothing more to do but pray
That Lord will curtail it’s endeavour.
Because I simply cannot go on
In this destructive dreary weather.
The sunshine of my life is gone
Since you and I are not together.
I walk around feeling lost forgotten sad.
When night comes down, the rain is getting really bad.
It’s squalling and howling, melting every hope I had.
This beating and splattering drives me totally mad.
