But frankly speaking, I get by

Except when someone speaks your name
Or someone's laugh is just the same…
Sometimes I wonder what's in store
Or should I fall for you once more?
Perhaps I shouldn’t
For I can clearly get by
without you just fine.
Except in Spring
When fresh winds bring
Your smell and images of you
And surely break my heart in two.
