Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day
The Jewish Temple in Jerusalem was the center of Jewish worship and sacrifice during the time of Jesus, and it is recorded in the Gospels that Jesus traveled to Jerusalem to celebrate the Jewish festivals and participate in the worship activities at the Temple. The Temple was considered the holiest place in Judaism, and its destruction by the Romans in 70 CE was a significant event in Jewish history.
While Jesus' teachings and actions may have differed in some ways from those of the religious authorities of his time, he was born into a Jewish family, raised in a Jewish community, and would have been familiar with Jewish scripture, customs, and traditions. As such, he would have worshiped the same God as other Jews of his time, and his teachings and actions should be understood within the context of Jewish religious and cultural traditions.
