Togetherness

How can togetherness be defined?
How can it be expressed with only one line?
The saying “one for all, and all for one”
Is to the point, there is better none.

Togetherness is needed for any crew,
When there’re challengers to go through,
Its members should ever interface
As in one body; each in its place.

Think of a crew of an eight-oar-shell
Where each rower is trained quite well,
Each member has his own place and oar
And knows what he joined the others for.

When through his fault the crew can lose a day
He shows tenacity not giving way
To feebleness, but strains his every nerve,
For common victory he’s glad to serve.

Togetherness is sure an effect
Of common efforts of a loyal band,
It can be very urgent to protect
One life, one mind, one heart under One Command.

Togetherness is a child of One Love
That overshadows each from above,
And its magnetic bonds are so strong
That all the members to the whole belong.
