Mission Sucre

Nothing is sweeter than knowledge,
Except for the chances we get to use it.
Nothing shines brighter than
The clarity of  songs
Of both innocence and experience,
Sharing right time
With people who inspire
And foster new inventions.

A melody, light and enchanting,
Rings in the air as
Its immersive nature
Enables you to focus on

The growing disparity
Between knowledge and ignorance.

I wish I knew
Which songs and poems are in trend
Miles away from here,
Which of them will turn into
The stillness,
The precious formality
And a rigorous chaos of
Our world.

A young lady with a pen
Writes down a story in which
Her life is nothing but a trembling shadow
Of knowledge,
Both elusive and empowering.

She watches the warm ocean
And dances to its rhythms,
Scholastically, then with an improving grace.

Oh what a delightful facial expression she might have!
Her story, typical yet mysterious,
An epitome of harsh reality
And elated wonders,
Is an ode to order  -
A vigorous pace
Of her racing heart
Is converted into a song
Of deliverance,
The finality of solitude.

The sea and her,
The sea and freedom,
The sea and letters,
Tender yet immense....

She writes down an excursion
Into the fields of memories,
For her solitude is partially revisited
By the reality.

A citrine is cited
In a story of her giftedness,
The endlessness of inner growth,
The exorbitantly exotic fruit in the market
Is tangible
Yet rare.
Her ginger hips
And her avocado stare
Are a form of saturation
And objection to despair.

It all is as vivid,
As passionately active
As knowledge.

Her mission is to cognize.
