Magic Evening

The city in daylight is like any city you find,
But evening is here and everything changes at night –
It casts a mysterious air on actors and life:
There’s Figaro singing and Hamlet again in a strife…

That magic evening – a wily mage,
Its tales weaving for us on stage,
The candles dimming and love is gone,
But on that evening it’s newly born

The caravels carrying slaves and the wine to our shore,
To that ancient harbor that sleeps on the ocean floor,
Anew rings the song of eternal and proud true love –
A sister to planets unknown but circling above…

Refrain

We walk through this world and we leave it our footprint and trace,
That magical evening remembers us all and our ways,
And when we no longer exist in this world on this stage,
The actors of future will bring us to life in their age…
