A Sonnet to Ron
Revolved towards its death, in gleeful cheer -
The fairy tales dying, far and few,
The horror stories spinning - true and queer.
The Earth, in dire silence, begged your hand -
You answered with a wisdom, new and old,
With galaxies of answers to be had -
So magical, but real to behold.
One day the world revolved in crazed routine...
But now lifted lies the phony veil.
And clear lies the battle 'fore our team:
To take the Universe in laughter, no fail.
One day, My Friend, when Freedom smiles and reigns
I’ll read my verse to you as stars parade…
