Sardonical laugh
Maybe no waters here.
Definetely you're not a sea,
If scars in you bleed and go deep.
Maybe i'm not a forest,
And this is not wind in my ears.
The wisper of ghosts and infernos,
With whom i was lefted to be..
Maybe i'm not smiling,
Maybe i'm not crack a jokes...
Maybe every inhale is a choke,
And my mask is sardonical laugh
(1.9.22)
*- The ancients who coined the term were referring to the humorless laughter and smiling produced by a deadly plant native to Sardinia. Writing in the second century AD, Pausanias noted of Sardinia, “The deadly herb looks like celery, but they say if you eat it you die of laughing. That is why Homer and the people of his time speak of something very unhealthy as a Sardonic laugh.” (In antiquity, the herb probably produced only grimaced smiling, as in The Odyssey, with “laughter,” if any was ever present, the result of rhythmic gasping during seizures.)
