Diligence in poetry

I'd love to make them weigh more -
As a matter of an experiment,
A thought, free yet excessive,
Since they carved out of pain
And joy

And solitude
And curiosity
That always seems to win.

They cast a light
Among names
And silence
And numerous illusions,
And stability
And chaos

And we used to be there -
A perfect solution,
Happy and united at a distance,

As letters
From one alphabet
In the same motion.
