Why, human?

HOW, HUMAN?
Why, human, so imprudent have You got?
You crave for wealth that will become a nought
In just a blink and nothing You will have
In the unforgiving face of power gaining death?
An infantile short view can't offer good tomorrow
Since today's joys require endless sorrow.

Why, human, You imagine ruling might
In feeble flesh in time's will so tight,
And let do despotism, rude and wild,
Just like a witless,  irresponsible, ill child?
