The goddess of knowledge and light,
Who holds a book in her shining hands,
Her wisdom is immense,
Her kindness is vast.
She blesses students and scholars
With clarity of mind
And brings harmony
To their souls.
She removes the veil of obscurity
Over complex and sensitive subjects,
Giving us the knowledge that is required for survival.
She tells us how to prevent diseases
And overcome obstacles,
Read in foreign languages,
Encrypt and decrypt information.
A mistress of arts,
The is the source of celestial inspiration
And the one who takes care
Of wandering monks and philosophers.
A glimpse into the truth
Is what all people need.
