Honesty

My honesty
Might appear brutal to some.

Sorry.

I can't simulate happiness
Or its absence,
Too honest I am,
I can't even use my tongue to multiply
Lies and gossip.

Not because of faith or upbringing -
Simply because I'm too lazy
Not to tell the truth.

Here's how I lose
My friends and people I admire,
The hotness of all wires of my youth
Won't help me redesign
The physical plane,
I'd rather not complain at all
But disappear in the height of the sky
To start anew away from here.
